Job Title: Project Manager

At Ceres Environmental Operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our disaster recovery projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide management oversight for all project phases, ensuring specifications and requirements are met and work is proceeding on schedule.
  • Supervise first-line managers, review reports, and address any reported difficulties or deficiencies.
  • Track and control project schedules and associated costs to achieve completion within the set time frame.
  • Establish and maintain quality relationships with cities, counties, and other stakeholders.
  • Determine labor requirements and delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient dispatch of workers to project sites.
  • Attend relevant conferences and meetings to stay informed and network with industry professionals.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of contractual proposals for emergency response services.
  • Supervise assigned staff and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in project management or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and reports.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
Work Environment:

As a Project Manager at Ceres Environmental Operations, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level is moderate, and you may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
