Key Responsibilities

The Community Outreach Specialist (COS) will report to the Sales Director and will be instrumental in fostering relationships with local businesses and organizations to drive patient engagement and acquisition. The COS will actively connect with potential patients, introduce them to Oak Street Health, and facilitate their onboarding process.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Sales Strategy: Formulate and execute a robust sales strategy aimed at achieving patient acquisition goals.
  • Pipeline Management: Cultivate and sustain a strong sales pipeline with precise forecasting and reporting.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to prospects, patients, and community partners.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and nurture leads through community networking and relationship building.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop local relationships and sales plans with a forward-thinking approach.

Account Management:

  • Establish and nurture trusting relationships with local businesses at various levels to promote patient growth.
  • Manage a portfolio of community partners, gaining insights into their challenges to create beneficial partnerships.
  • Document and analyze customer interactions and sales activities using a CRM system.
  • Design and implement sales plans that align with the business development cycle.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
