Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000.
Role Responsibilities
The Territory Sales Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional sales and service within their designated territory and industry segment. This role involves promoting and selling Signode's high-performance packaging systems across various sectors to meet customer needs.
- Utilize a consultative and solutions-oriented approach to provide comprehensive packaging solutions to clients.
- Achieve or surpass sales targets by leveraging the full range of Signode products and services.
- Develop, document, and communicate the value proposition of One Signode to our distribution partners.
- Possess intermediate knowledge of Signode's product offerings and applications to effectively sell tailored solutions.
- Enhance understanding of the assigned market segment through participation in trade shows, meetings, and industry associations.
- Establish networks and relationships with industry leaders to promote Signode's opportunities within the market.
- Provide valuable industry insights to colleagues, including product management and sales teams.
- Contribute to sales and marketing strategies by sharing insights on market opportunities and competitive landscape.
- Coordinate sales activities from initial quote to final sale closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams on account management and departmental initiatives.
- Implement an effective Time and Territory Management Plan to optimize sales efficiency, balancing efforts across existing, target, and new accounts.
- Uphold the Signode Values in all professional conduct.
- Engage in Training & Development opportunities to enhance skills and career progression.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable department in collecting overdue balances and ensuring accounts remain in good standing.
Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: 4-6 years of experience in outside consultative sales, preferably in the industrial sector. Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and be willing to travel overnight up to 65% of the time.
- Demonstrated mechanical and manufacturing aptitude.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and interpreting dashboards on PowerBi, along with general MS Office skills.
- Strong technological skills, including knowledge of social media for customer engagement.
