Position Overview: The Senior Customer Support Coordinator is responsible for managing inquiries, referrals, and concerns from clients, employers, and other stakeholders. This role also assists the Customer Support Supervisor in monitoring daily team performance and provides updates on call trends, volume, and escalations, ensuring prompt assistance for lobby guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls from clients and stakeholders, directing them appropriately or providing assistance as needed.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on all client communications.
  • Document any delays in client responses and report them to the relevant supervisor.
  • Manage escalated calls, striving for resolution at the initial level or facilitating transfers as necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication between the Customer Support Department and other divisions.
  • Support the training and development of new Customer Support Coordinators.
  • Oversee training materials and collaborate with the Customer Support Supervisor to enhance training programs.
  • Ensure cross-training among team members within the Customer Support Department.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations at all times.
  • Represent the department in inter-departmental meetings, offering insights for process improvements.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn agency-specific software.
  • Typing speed of 35 wpm with 80% accuracy is required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.
  • A High School diploma or GED is required.

Compensation: Estimated gross salary ranges from $37,440 to $45,760.
