As a key member of our Cord Blood department, you will be responsible for coordinating the process for cord blood collections with hospitals, physicians, and Labor and Delivery staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cord blood collections with hospitals, physicians, and Labor and Delivery staff
  • Participate in cord blood collection and handling/labeling procedures
  • Monitor incoming cord blood units and prepare for transport
  • Coordinate educational activities for obstetricians, obstetrical offices staff, expectant mothers, and hospital nursing staff on cord blood collection procedures
  • Review documentation related to collection and utilize data management system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Five or more years of Customer Service Experience
  • Three or more years of job specific experience
  • Texas Operators Driver's License
  • Texas Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred
