Position Overview:
La Jolla LASIK Institute is seeking an OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR to oversee our operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Promote the La Jolla LASIK culture throughout the organization by leading through example.
Ensure accountability among team leaders for meeting performance expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide mentorship and coaching to team leaders to enhance performance and adherence to organizational policies and culture.
Train and develop team leaders and direct reports to build a robust talent pipeline for succession planning and career development.
Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
Facilitate effective communication with all staff members.
Hold team members accountable for meeting established expectations.

Operations and Logistics:
Take full responsibility for the operational management of the unit, encompassing production, logistics, supply chain, safety, quality assurance, personnel management, and customer service.
Ensure adherence to all quality and safety protocols by all staff.
Meet all operational needs in a timely manner.
Achieve all KPIs in alignment with organizational standards.
Anticipate and address potential issues that may lead to delays, quality concerns, or safety risks.
Develop and implement operational methods and procedures aimed at resolving operational challenges and enhancing product quality.

Financial Management:
Maintain operations within the established budget for all activities.
Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, increase output, and minimize waste while consistently delivering quality services on time.

Quality Assurance and Safety:
Ensure all processes comply with organizational and industry standards.
Adhere to best practices in hygiene and operational procedures.
Conduct investigations and complete documentation for incidents and accidents.
Enforce safety protocols and legal requirements across all operations.

Human Resources:
Assess the capabilities of team members and implement actions to address performance and behavioral issues.
Foster employee morale by promoting engagement and creating a culture of trust and respect.
Address employee and management concerns and escalate issues to the HR department as necessary.
