In this position, you will oversee a team of hourly associates and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

You will also be instrumental in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure orders are fulfilled at the right time and to the correct location.

Our operational workflow consists of three key components: First mile - where products are stored and prepared for orders; Middle mile - where orders are transported to your area; and Last mile - when products are delivered to the customer's doorstep.

It is important to note that while workflows may have slight variations, one thing remains constant: our vision and commitment to the customer.
Our fulfillment network opens new Operations sites annually, providing various opportunities for your professional development. We recruit Operations Area Supervisors based on location preferences and current business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support, mentor, and inspire your hourly workforce.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop strategies that meet business objectives.

Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
- Work in an environment where noise levels may vary and can be loud.
- Work in conditions that may involve variable temperatures and weather.
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
