Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support Advancement and Alumni Engagement goals
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve comprehensive data integration, maturity, and efficiency
  • Derive insights from data to answer critical questions and inform decision-making
  • Own the responsibility for identifying potential donors and developing creative and innovative prospect research
  • Champion the potential in each team within Advancement and Alumni Engagement, maximizing intersectional strategies between and within individual philanthropy, corporate and foundation philanthropy, advancement services, and alumni engagement

Requirements:

  • Three to four years of professional experience in a data analytics or prospect research role or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record in proactive research practices
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Experience managing multiple and complex projects, meeting deadlines, adapting to changing priorities and needs
  • Experience working with campaign planning

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with Banner and/or other advancement databases, ResearchPoint, LiveAlumni, iWave, and AlumniFinder
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and security protocols related to fundraising operations
  • Knowledge of data and IT security protocols related to higher education and fundraising operations
  • Experience working in a higher education environment
  • Works well under pressure
  • Experience in comprehensive campaign planning and execution
  • Awareness of national trends in higher education philanthropic efforts
