About Our Client

Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. As a key member of the commercial construction industry, this role will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and contributing to the company's strategic vision.

Job Description
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth targets and expand market share.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure continued business and referrals.
  • Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation of proposals, presentations, and bids, ensuring they align with client needs and company capabilities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for business expansion.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, project managers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with company goals.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and market trends to the executive team.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development within the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven track record of success in securing new business, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Deep understanding of the construction industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
