Executive Director, Head of Portfolio Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Management professional to join our team at Revolution Medicines. As the Head of Portfolio Management, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our portfolio strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the build out of the portfolio management capability, partnering with R&D Leadership, Commercial, Finance, and other functions to identify current and future needs and evolve capabilities to remain fit for purpose.
- Implement best practices for portfolio prioritization, decision analysis, project trade-offs, and assigning probability of success to support decision making.
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards and reports to support executive decision making.
- Facilitate and project manage the Portfolio Working Group (PWG), partnering with the PWG Chair to define strategic context for the portfolio and program decisions and execution.
- 10+ years' experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with 5+ years' experience in portfolio management, portfolio planning, or similar function(s).
- Experience with clinical development stages and understanding of the external landscape and key players in the Oncology space.
- Strong insight into strategic and commercial drivers of the pharmaceutical market with a thorough understanding of the drug development and commercialization process.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Proven ability to think strategically with sound judgment and decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership, influencing skills, critical thinking, creativity, and ability to manage complexity and operate amidst ambiguity.

We offer a competitive salary range of $253,000 to $305,000 for candidates based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
