Executive Director, Head of Portfolio Management

Revolution Medicines, a clinical-stage precision oncology company, is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Management Leader to join its team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a vision for the company's portfolio management function.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Portfolio Management Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive portfolio management strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead Portfolio Management Function: Oversee the development and implementation of portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Facilitate Portfolio Working Group: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize portfolio opportunities, and develop and implement strategies to optimize the portfolio.
- Drive Analytical Insights: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's portfolio, including market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Communicate Effectively: Present complex analytical insights and portfolio strategies to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- 10+ Years of Experience: In the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, portfolio planning, or a similar function.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive work relationships and effectively interface at all levels across the organization.
- B.A. or BSc. in Life Sciences: With an MSc, MBA, or Ph.D.
- Line Management Experience: Preferred, with matrix management experience acceptable as an alternative.
Revolution Medicines offers a competitive salary range of $253,000 to $305,000 for this full-time position, based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
