Job Title: Executive Director, Head of Field Medical Affairs

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the US Field Medical team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
  • Lead all Medical Field activities supporting our portfolio, including developing and deploying key performance indicators and monitoring team performance.
  • Drive thought leader engagement strategy, foster scientific exchange, and lead insight generation strategies to ensure timely and accurate scientific communication.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and support compliant and effective execution.
  • Develop and execute individual territory plans annually and revisit quarterly or as needed, ensuring a robust Field Medical plan across US national, regional, and community healthcare practitioners.
Requirements:
  • Advanced, medical/scientific doctoral level degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) required.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech Industry with Medical Affairs.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing Field Medical teams.
  • Global product launch experience and demonstrated expertise in oncology.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, and retaining Field Medical talent.
  • Leadership skills, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to evaluate competing priorities to arrive at an appropriate decision.
Preferred Skills:
  • 15+ years' experience in Medical Affairs.
  • Expertise in gastrointestinal and lung cancers.
