Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at ResourceMFG. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production areas, ensuring efficient and safe production processes, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and guidance to team leaders in departments such as raw ingredient preparation, cooking, filling, and case packaging.
  • Maintain line efficiency and ensure all employees adhere to company safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Manage, coach, and develop direct reports to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), action plan indicators, and process performance indicators.
  • Ensure finished products meet specifications and manage teams to produce quality products efficiently, meeting time and quantity goals.
  • Motivate teams to exceed daily production metric targets, such as units per man hour.
  • Complete documentation accurately for traceability and follow good manufacturing practices.
  • Escalate safety or quality issues as needed during your shift.
  • Handle transactions in the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Manage employee work schedules, breaks, and ensure they are punctual.
  • Plan activities in advance to minimize production downtime.
  • Regularly assess production efficiency and look for ways to continually improve processes.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of management or supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in food production, beverage, or bottling.
  • Experience in a Lean Manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance environment (preferred).
  • Experience working with perishable items (strongly preferred).
  • Manage and record transactions within an ERP system.
  • Proven track record in safe working practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, goal-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Problem-solver, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
