Position Overview: ResourceMFG is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee our shipping operations. The Logistics Supervisor is essential in managing daily logistics activities, collaborating with the production team to ensure timely shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:30am-3:00pm | Compensation: $28-$33 DOE | Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the logistics department to guarantee efficient dispatch of products.
- Coordinate effectively between production and warehouse teams.
- Ensure adherence to shipping protocols and safety regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team.
- Plan and organize shipments systematically.
- Conduct regular inventory assessments.
- Work alongside the procurement team to obtain necessary shipping materials.
- Address and resolve logistics challenges, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or shipping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in the plastic or packaging sector, is preferred.
- Forklift certification and familiarity with warehouse management systems are advantageous.
