Position Overview:
Citi is advancing its governance and control framework by establishing the Institutional Credit Management (ICM) function, which aims to systematically oversee credit risk activities within its Institutional Client Group. The primary goal of ICM is to deliver comprehensive credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit risk across the organization.

Role of Credit Underwriting:
Within ICM, the Credit Underwriting function (ICM-UW) is responsible for providing in-depth analysis, credit approval, and ongoing credit monitoring across various wholesale credit sectors, including Banking, Capital Markets, Advisory, Global Structured Products, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct acquisition and evaluation of quantitative data to assess the performance of oil and gas assets.
  • Organize, manipulate, and present cash flow projections related to oil and gas.
  • Utilize engineering software (such as ARIES and PHDWin) for data analysis and forecasting.
  • Transfer model cash flow projections into Excel-based credit models for asset performance evaluation.
  • Draft detailed engineering reports and necessary documentation.
  • Engage in routine communication with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding engineering issues.
  • Prepare internal reports concerning the oil and gas portfolio.
  • Deliver ad-hoc training presentations for Credit and Banking personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and due diligence protocols.
  • Foster relationships with key clients in Banking and Risk, as well as with Regulators and Internal Audit.
  • Assist the ICM Underwriting Global Head with strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Support Voice of Employee (VOE) initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Over 8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for some field experience.
