Position Overview
As a key member of the credit team at Golden Bank, you will ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations while maintaining the integrity of the credit management process.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to and stay informed about all applicable federal and state laws and bank policies.
- Assist the Chief Credit Officer in the preparation and execution of the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) framework.
- Review and analyze new and renewed loans prior to loan committee meetings, actively participating in discussions regarding new, renewed, and delinquent loans, as well as loans with adverse ratings.

- Aggregate and assess data related to credit and associated risks to facilitate informed decision-making within the organization.
- Ensure accurate risk grading of credits, appropriate structuring, and identification and mitigation of key credit risks and repayment sources.
- Conduct after-funding loan reviews and recommend changes to loan grades when necessary.

- Monitor reports of past due and matured loans to ensure timely actions are taken.
- Assist loan officers in reviewing maturing loan reports to prevent administrative delinquencies and identify significant changes that may lead to risk rating downgrades.
- Provide comprehensive credit reviews and evaluations for assigned commercial borrowers, supporting the bank's credit activities.

- Review real estate appraisals and prepare appraisal review forms as required.
- Support senior management with Other Real Estate Owned (OREO) properties as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned relevant to the position.

Qualifications
- A broad understanding of regulatory requirements and standards related to commercial lending, commercial real estate, and residential mortgage products.
- Exceptional credit analysis and commercial underwriting skills.
- Ability to logically evaluate and address potential risks and uncertainties independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with strong organizational skills.

Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial lending, including underwriting and approval, with a minimum of 2 years in commercial banking or commercial real estate loan production.
- Preferred: At least 5 years in a credit approval role within a commercial bank and 3 to 5 years of prior supervisory experience.

Education
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field is required.
