Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with commercial carriers to ensure optimal service delivery and placement strategies.
  • Service Team Leadership: Lead service teams on large accounts, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of key services.
  • Risk Management: Analyze complex risk exposures, develop recommendations for clients and prospects, and ensure alignment with the firm's risk management strategies.
  • Marketing and Business Development: Perform marketing activities for large accounts, identifying opportunities to improve the firm's business and processes.
  • Project Management: Complete special projects, including risk mapping and peer reviewing, to support the firm's growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and working towards a professional insurance designation preferred.
  • Experience: 10 years' experience in commercial account management, with demonstrated proficiency in risk management and carrier relationship management.
  • Certifications: None required; professional insurance designations preferred.
  • Licenses: Maintains all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions.
Skills and Abilities
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of general insurance market conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting appetites.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex risk exposures and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Working Conditions
