Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the underwriting workflow in accordance with carrier standards and CRC Group protocols.
- Provide essential information to brokerage markets for accounts requiring non-binding authority.
- Make informed underwriting decisions and address complex coverage challenges.
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with insurance carriers.
- Generate quotes and finalize binding for both new and existing accounts.
- Negotiate optimal terms with available markets.
- Evaluate and approve or reject endorsement requests.
- Monitor accounts to ensure adherence to policy regulations.
- Ensure documentation meets required standards and falls within underwriting authority limits.
- Maintain all necessary licenses to operate effectively.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent insurance certification.
- A minimum of three years' experience in underwriting or brokerage.
- Appropriate licensing in relevant areas.
- Capability to independently oversee underwriting and brokerage functions.
