Director of Leadership Development

In this pivotal role, reporting to the Global Head of Talent Development, the Director of Leadership Development will be tasked with designing and implementing comprehensive strategies aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and fostering talent retention within GLG. This position entails the oversight of culturally attuned, globally applicable leadership and talent development initiatives that align with GLG's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify leadership development requirements through various evaluation methods, including assessment tools and talent review dialogues.
  • Formulate and execute a leadership development framework that supports GLG's business objectives.
  • Design and deliver leadership training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions to strengthen essential leadership skills.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to pinpoint high-potential individuals and devise growth strategies for them.
  • Establish mentoring and coaching initiatives to nurture the development of high-potential talent.
  • Implement succession planning strategies to build a robust pipeline of capable leaders for critical organizational roles.
  • Provide support and guidance to senior leaders by sharing insights on leadership best practices and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Global Program Manager to set key performance indicators for leadership initiatives, evaluate their success, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that champions diversity and integrates inclusivity into all programs and processes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in leadership and talent development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of experience in leadership development, with a solid understanding of assessment, assimilation, and coaching methodologies.
  • Proven success in creating and executing leadership development programs with an emphasis on integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.
  • Practical knowledge of talent management strategies, including assessment, development, and retention.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with accreditation in SLII and coaching.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting large-scale organizational change.
  • Adept at analyzing data to derive insights for future strategies.
  • Experience in identifying, evaluating, and managing external vendor partnerships.
  • Familiarity with psychometric assessment tools, ideally accredited in Hogan and DISC.

Compensation:

GLG is dedicated to ensuring fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation will be determined based on individual factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and work location. Some roles may be eligible for incentive compensation.

The expected base salary range for this position is $118,000 to $158,000 USD.
