Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Talent and People Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building and scaling our HR function, overseeing our Talent Acquisition team, and fostering a strong company culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including policy development, compensation structures, and employee relations
  • Manage and optimize compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, benefits administration, payroll, and HRIS management
  • Drive HR projects and initiatives to support our growing team, aimed at improving policies, procedures, and overall employee experience
  • Lead Talent Acquisition Strategy: Oversee and manage the entire talent acquisition process, ensuring a seamless and effective candidate experience
  • Mentor and Elevate the Talent Team: Provide guidance and mentorship to the talent acquisition team, managing their performance and development
  • Promote and Shape Company Culture: Act as a brand ambassador for Hearth's culture and values, both internally and externally
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on HR matters and ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with overall business objectives
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of People Ops experience, with at least 3-5 years managing talent acquisition teams
  • Extensive HR Generalist skills and experience in benefits administration
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Experience with HRIS; Active HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR)
