Position Overview

The Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for the setup and assembly of advanced lighting systems in accordance with production standards and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components into finished products using hand tools, power tools, and templates, following both written and verbal instructions.
- Inspect components for quality assurance; implement modifications as required based on engineering guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and results-driven approach to work, demonstrating integrity and trustworthiness.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Utilize available resources and technology efficiently to complete tasks.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal regulations, ensuring compliance in all activities.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and operational problem-solving.
- Follow all safety protocols, including ESD guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prioritize tasks effectively through open communication with supervisors and colleagues.
- Assist in the movement of materials as necessary, adhering to safety practices.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 6 months of assembly experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Work is conducted in a climate-controlled assembly area under standard production conditions. Employees may encounter fumes, caustic substances, and electrical hazards, necessitating strict adherence to safety guidelines. Regular physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
