About the Role

Lasko Products is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
  • Emergency Repairs: Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Skills: Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
  • Plumbing and Carpentry: Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Tool Operation: Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Quality and Safety: Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Requirements
  • Education: High School or equivalent. Technical education/background and Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Ideally 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Teamwork: Team player who demonstrates the ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Communication: Must be able to understand and apply basic directions with regard to safety procedures, quality standards, production goals, and company rules, regulations, and processes.
  • Operational Skills: Proficiency in operating machinery in routine and non-routine, and complex and non-complex environments.
  • Adaptability: Ability to perform to schedule in flexible, dynamic work environment with minimal supervision.
