Position Overview
The Parts Manager is essential in ensuring the efficiency and profitability of the parts department. This role involves overseeing the entire parts operation, from sourcing and ordering to inventory management and customer service. The ideal candidate will foster a positive work environment that aligns with our organizational values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the parts department to ensure exceptional service and profitability.
  • Oversee daily parts ordering and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Monitor and audit all sales processes, including inventory control and vendor relations.
  • Ensure timely returns of cores and warranty parts to vendors.
  • Address customer concerns proactively and manage escalated issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety policies.
  • Stay informed about regulations affecting the parts department.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate parts department staff.
  • Prepare and manage the department's operating budget.
  • Effectively manage obsolete parts inventory.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in parts management.
  • Experience in dealership service and parts is preferred.
  • 3+ years of management experience is preferred.
