What we require from you:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous automotive or shop experience.
- Basic toolset for performing oil services and wheel removal.
- Ability to utilize computerized equipment for inspections and documentation.
- Self-motivated and highly reliable.
- Capability to operate a manual transmission.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Position Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform necessary maintenance on customer vehicles according to Scott's standards and vehicle specifications.
- Utilize provided equipment to inspect every vehicle entering the shop.
- Document vehicle conditions through photographs during the inspection process to effectively communicate with service advisors and customers.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company's reputation.
- Assist technicians in keeping their work areas clean and free of hazards, including emptying trash and disposing of parts properly.
- Support front-end staff in managing client interactions and vehicle preparations, including check-ins and loaner vehicle setups.
- Communicate effectively with all team members to ensure customer vehicles are maintained and repaired safely and efficiently, enhancing company profits and maintaining company standards.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Store Director.
- Monitor and assist with the upkeep of the shop, tools, and equipment.
- Execute any other duties that contribute to the productivity and efficiency of the shop.
