Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the FP&A Manager for North America. This role is pivotal in conducting financial assessments and crafting long-term financial projections and budgets, which are essential for effective business planning, oversight, and performance evaluation.

This position transcends traditional spreadsheet creation. It offers a dynamic and visible opportunity to delve into data analysis, presenting insights and discussing business trends as they emerge. Your presentations will be impactful and well-structured.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Enhance financial performance by analyzing outcomes, tracking variances, identifying trends, and advising management on actionable strategies.
- Examine historical and current financial data and performance metrics.
- Generate detailed reports and forecasts based on comprehensive analysis.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to meet evolving business requirements.
- Investigate potential investment opportunities.
- Assess ongoing capital expenditures.
- Collaborate with various business units to review financial data and forecasts.
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools.
- Comprehend key operational metrics and assess performance against established benchmarks.
- Assist in the financial closing processes for both service and holding companies.
- Create financial and operational models that illustrate scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate impacts on financial outcomes, investment returns, and projected growth.
- Partner with businesses on pricing strategies, RFPs, and cost structure evaluations.
- Undertake additional special projects, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a comparable role.
- Proven track record in a complex organization conducting productive financial analyses.
- Strong work ethic and results-driven approach.
- Previous experience in treasury functions is advantageous.
- Experience in developing long-term financial forecasts and budgets, along with preparing reports and ad-hoc analyses.
- Background in managing special projects beyond routine analyses.
- Proficient in navigating environments with diverse data sources and formats.
- Advanced skills in Excel spreadsheet development are essential.
