Overview:

Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Accounts Receivable Management to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day and strategic management of our Physician Central Billing Offices accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies to improve revenue cycle performance and cash collections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve revenue cycle issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, payers, and internal teams.
  • Manage and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of front office staff and providers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ambulatory practice management, revenue cycle management, or healthcare consulting.
  • Experience with professional billing for surgical providers strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with insurance payor behaviors and reimbursement policies required.

What We Offer:

Hospital for Special Surgery offers a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
