Job Title: Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Madison Approach is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of tenant rent statements, and maintaining a high level of collaboration and support for the accounting, leasing, operations, and property management departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Yardi Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise the tenant's monthly billing process, responding to inquiries and addressing issues of accuracy in billing.
  • Prepare rent adjustment memos and communicate AR-related issues and potential solutions to management.
  • Oversee the AR team to ensure timely payment of rents and charges, and manage collections via email and phone calls.
  • Work with Property Accountants to verify and bill Consumer Price Index, Real Estate Tax, Insurance, and Operating Expense escalations, as well as Electric and Tenant Service pass-thru billings.
  • Review and approve monthly commercial billing reports, calculate late fees, and update tenant receivable ledgers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial property management and knowledge of Yardi.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and supervise a team, communicate with all tenants, and manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.
  • Advanced knowledge of the commercial leasing process and ability to calculate intermediate figures.
Working Environment:

The ideal candidate will be able to perform routine office tasks, including operating a computer for long periods, sitting, filing, and communicating on the phone. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull a maximum of 30 lbs.

This is a permanent direct hire opportunity with a salary range of $79-99K DOE.
