Position Summary

The Cannabis Retail Specialist is tasked with possessing extensive product knowledge, facilitating sales, enhancing customer experiences, and ensuring a tidy and organized retail space. This role involves assisting customers with their selections, recommending appropriate products, addressing inquiries, and maintaining stock levels on the sales floor. A genuine enthusiasm for the cannabis sector, along with a solid understanding of cannabis products, is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Ensure the dispensary is consistently well-stocked, clean, and organized.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and strains available in-store, as well as general industry knowledge.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and evaluate the quality of the company's service.
  • Provide guidance to customers regarding cannabis and cannabis-infused products, including dosages, forms, effects, and potential side effects.
  • Process sales transactions accurately, entering all necessary information into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Operate the cash register and manage cash transactions with precision.
Additional Duties

Perform other related tasks as necessary.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age due to legal requirements.
  • Successful completion of a Federal and State criminal history background check is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in retail or food service is required, with preference given to candidates with cannabis experience.
  • At least two (2) years of experience with METRC is required.

Work Schedule

This position requires on-site work five days a week.
