Role Overview:
The Dispensary Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all personnel and operational processes within the dispensary. The ideal candidate will manage staff, inventory, and customer interactions while ensuring financial objectives are met.

This position reports directly to the Retail Director.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, manage, and cross-train team members across all relevant functions.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for team members.
  • Achieve revenue targets through effective management practices, staff development, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Director to develop promotions, establish competitive pricing, and market in-house brands.
  • Oversee all cash management processes, including till setup, cash handling, and deposits.
  • Manage supply procurement for the dispensary, including office and replacement supplies.
  • Train staff on company protocols, product knowledge, and service philosophy to enhance customer experience.
  • Engage with customers on the sales floor, promoting deals and fostering strong relationships to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the cannabis industry, particularly in cash management, product knowledge, inventory processes, compliance, and audits.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a specialized retail environment, overseeing one or more locations.
  • Ability to pass all necessary background checks in accordance with Illinois cannabis regulations.
