Customer Service Representative

\t• Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, resolving billing issues and amending policies as needed.
\t• Generate policy quotes and provide coverage advice to new and potential customers.
\t• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent.
\t• Support teammates with follow-up for clients and prospects.
\t• Research and resolve coverage questions.
\t• Respond promptly to client needs, either on the phone or electronically.
\t• Maintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company.
\t• Cultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative selling.
\t• Assist with other office duties as needed.
\t• Possess basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and customer database systems.
\t• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
\t• A general understanding of insurance policies and schedules is preferred.
\t• Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills.
\t• Prior work in a customer-facing position or customer service role is required.
\t• Fluency in Spanish, written and spoken.
\t• This is an in-person position, so you must live within driving distance of our office location in Fullerton, CA, and have appropriate means of transportation.
\t• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a calculator.
\t• Type quickly and accurately.
\t• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
\t• Organized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rules.
\t• Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical, and honest.
\t• Property and Casualty license preferred (required within the first 60 days of employment).
\t• We will train and educate the successful candidate.
\t• Having previous experience working within the insurance industry is a bonus.
\t• Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly.
