Customer Service Representative

Position: Express Service Advisor
The Express Service Advisor acts as the primary communication hub for all service and repair operations, serving as the vital link between clients and technicians.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Listening attentively to customer concerns and thoroughly understanding their automotive issues.
- Coordinating appropriate service and repair solutions while managing customer expectations effectively.
- Ensuring customers are informed about necessary repairs and recommended maintenance.
Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate will ideally possess some post-secondary education in automotive technology or relevant experience, along with at least one year of experience in a dealership or large service facility. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential, as well as a proven track record in technical knowledge and customer service.
You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, exhibiting a positive demeanor, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills. Your ability to deliver exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule service appointments for customers, either in person or via phone, ensuring prompt and accurate diagnostics.
- Make informed repair recommendations and oversee the repair process by managing customer expectations.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and complies with industry regulations and standards.
- Adhere to and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational opportunities as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a dealership or large service facility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Professional appearance and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Dependable and professional demeanor.
- Unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Proficient in computer and internet usage.
