Position Overview

At OPEN Health, we are on the lookout for a talented individual to join our Business Development team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the growth of our Evidence & Access (HEOR and Market Access) Practice. This role will focus on identifying and nurturing business opportunities within key accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulating growth strategies for specific client accounts by evaluating client insights, OPEN Health's market positioning, current business performance, and potential growth avenues. This includes working closely with senior team members to refine account strategies.
    • Recognizing key decision-makers within client organizations, such as procurement officers and budget managers, and developing engagement strategies to cultivate new leads and strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Participating in lead generation efforts through client interactions, proactive outreach, attendance at industry conferences, maximizing marketing leads, and collaborating with the Demand Generation team.
  • Transforming leads into opportunities through consultative selling, involving subject matter experts at the appropriate stages.
    • Understanding client needs.
    • Demonstrating OPEN Health's capabilities and expertise.
    • Presenting our offerings to clients.
    • Contributing to the definition and evaluation of project scopes.
  • Facilitating the opportunity allocation process to ensure the most suitable team is assigned for timely and effective responses.
  • Overseeing opportunity conversion and contractual processes with guidance from the Head of Business Development, E&A. Providing client insights and successful strategies for proposal development to ensure favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborating across E&A and other departments within OPEN Health.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities with other OPEN Health Practices.
  • Ensuring precise tracking of leads and opportunities in the CRM system.
Qualifications and Skills
  • BA, BS, MS, PhD, PharmD, MD, MPH, or relevant advanced degrees.
  • Proven experience in selling HEOR and Market Access services, with a thorough understanding of OPEN Health's client needs.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and experienced in utilizing CRM platforms and other tools for effective business development planning and execution.
Travel Expectations
  • Potential for 10-20% travel, including international trips.
