Key Responsibilities
Role Scope and Duties

The primary responsibilities associated with this position encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Manage incoming requests via email and phone for pricing quotes, purchase orders, modifications, adjustments, and cancellations from customers, sales representatives, or various internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Representatives, Sales Leaders, and other sales personnel to assist with Opportunity management in SalesForce, ensuring all pertinent data is current for accurate forecasting that is reported to executive management weekly.
  • Support a designated territory, national accounts, or specific sales team relationships, with potential assistance in other regions across the United States.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of SalesForce reports and active order files to ensure that deals within the supported territory are accurately updated.
  • Assist Sales and Pre-sales teams in utilizing SalesForce reports effectively.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Representatives and Business Operations to compile necessary documentation for initiating the order process.
  • Engage with OEM/Vendor/Disti tools and systems to complete registrations for quotes and deals, verifying associated costs.
  • Support Sales in uploading Vendor SKU's and pricing into SalesForce to facilitate the quoting process.
  • Maintain frequent communication with sales, presales, finance, and service delivery teams to ensure high-quality customer outcomes related to sales activities.
  • Possess a working understanding of the Order Process, ensuring that all relevant information is captured when creating quotes and that orders are submitted promptly.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Requirements

The following qualifications and requirements are essential for this role:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related sales support or end-user sales role.
  • An associate degree from an accredited institution.
  • A sales-oriented mindset with an understanding of how to positively influence sales and expedite order completion.
  • Experience with product and recurring bookings is preferred, or demonstrated knowledge in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in using SalesForce or equivalent tools, particularly in forecasting and quoting functions.
  • Familiarity with vendor partner programs and processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, TigerPaw, Sales Logix, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of standard business processes, such as the Opportunity to Cash process, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and dispute resolution abilities.
