Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Third Party Patient Liaison to enhance our operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking, communication, documentation, and follow-through. This role involves managing all activities related to patient cases that engage third parties, including donor management, recipient coordination, gestational carrier oversight, and intended parent interactions.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Third Party Reproduction Liaison provides essential administrative and practical support to patients involved in our third-party program. This encompasses preparing and guiding prospective parents through the planning and execution of fertility treatments by delivering comprehensive information regarding each clinical aspect of the treatment cycle, as outlined by the attending physician.

The liaison will oversee the daily operations concerning Third Party patients while collaborating effectively with physicians, department leaders, and staff, ensuring adherence to regulatory compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Conducting chart reviews and managing calendars
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and checklists
  • Providing patient education and maintaining open lines of communication
  • Facilitating coordination among involved parties and clinical teams
  • Performing additional duties as required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships with the care team and external providers.
  • Communicating with patients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prioritizing responsibilities effectively, particularly those that are time-sensitive.
  • Engaging in sensitive discussions with clients with empathy and discretion.
  • Understanding medical terminology related to fertility or the ability to acquire this knowledge within a short timeframe.
  • Adhering to clinic hours and attendance expectations due to the specialized nature of the role.
  • Utilizing office equipment and software proficiently.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Prior experience in IVF settings is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and emotional intelligence.
  • Exhibiting sound judgment and integrity.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and terminologies.
