Job Title: Patient Liaison

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Liaison to join our team at Retina Consultants of Texas. As a Patient Liaison, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and support throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to patient inquiries and provide clear, concise information about treatment options, symptoms, and prescriptions.
  • Coordinate test scheduling, obtain pre-authorizations, and relay results to patients.
  • Manage prescription refills, schedule referrals, and request medical records from other physician offices.
  • Assist with clinic operations as needed and complete patient paperwork and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in showing courtesy, diligence, and teamwork.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective listening, clear communication, and patient problem resolution.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, coworkers, and patients.
  • Basic knowledge of eye anatomy, disease processes, and medical terminology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
