Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to engage with a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The ideal candidate will manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence. This position requires an individual adept at handling multiple priorities and demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, ensuring client service needs are not only met but exceeded.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, gaining insights into their business and insurance needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
  • Evaluate and assess clients' current insurance coverage, providing strategic recommendations for enhancements.
  • Manage the renewal process for all assigned accounts, including crafting renewal proposals and negotiating optimal terms with carriers.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Partner with underwriters and adjusters to effectively manage claims and risk management challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, regulations, and products to offer informed advice and service to clients.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management, particularly in commercial insurance or property & casualty sectors.
  • Valid state Property and Casualty License.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred insurance designations include CIC or CPCU.
