Senior Technology Risk Underwriter

ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Technology Underwriter to join our Commercial Lines team. This role allows for a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement and is classified as a full-time, exempt position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Underwrite and manage Commercial Lines Technology accounts for designated agency assignments.
- Take ownership of the underwriting and servicing of non-bypass accounts within your portfolio, ensuring appropriate pricing to achieve desired profit margins.
- Deliver renewal quotes professionally, including proposals for cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with New Business Underwriters and Senior Client Service Managers (SCSMs) to ensure cohesive account strategies.
- Engage in agency reviews, planning, and profiling, while participating in results management and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree is preferred along with a minimum of 3 years of underwriting experience.
- Strong underwriting skills and knowledge of coverage, with the ability to make informed decisions on Small Commercial and Middle Market accounts.
- A demonstrated commitment to service excellence and responsiveness to partners.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Agents, Underwriters, SCSMs, and New Business Underwriters, showcasing teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Excellent time management capabilities and a proactive approach to underwriting, particularly for accounts requiring detailed reviews.
- A solid understanding of Commercial Lines goals and strategies, with a history of achieving positive outcomes.
