This role offers a competitive starting bonus of $7,500.

As a Commercial Territory Account Executive, you will represent Progressive Insurance to independent agencies within your designated region. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with agents, advocating for the increased adoption of Progressive's diverse range of products and services. You will customize your interactions to foster mutually beneficial opportunities for both Progressive and the agencies you serve.

In this position, you will oversee the quality of your portfolio and effectively address any objections to promote profitable growth in your territory. By establishing yourself as a reliable partner, you will gain insights into the agency's objectives and align our offerings with their needs.

Territory: This role covers the state of Massachusetts, requiring travel to meet with all agencies in the area, including overnight stays approximately two nights per week.

Home Office: You can work from anywhere within Massachusetts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED or higher with at least six years of experience in outside business-to-business sales or territory management.
  • OR a Bachelor's degree or higher with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

This position necessitates adherence to Progressive's driving standards and policies, along with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of advocacy and influencing results.
  • Ability to independently manage your workload and schedule, with prior experience in a field-based role.
  • Skilled in leveraging formal and informal networks to achieve objectives and analyze data sources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with sales or customer relationship management tools (e.g., Salesforce).

Compensation:

Annual salary range: $91,000 - $111,000.

Includes a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a Gainshare bonus of up to 30% based on company performance.
