Role Responsibilities:

The Account Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to clients, producers, account executives, and colleagues. As the primary liaison for assigned accounts, the Account Manager collaborates within a team to provide comprehensive client services.

Key Requirements:

  • Establish robust relationships with insurance clients and underwriters, adhering to company policies and service standards.
  • Thoroughly review all insurance applications, policies, endorsements, cancellations, and audits for precision.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for all client interactions.
  • Utilize independent judgment and discretion to investigate significant client matters.
  • Oversee and facilitate the complete renewal process for assigned clients, including preparing applications for insurance carriers, negotiating with underwriters, and reviewing insurance quotes.
  • Potential to mentor Insurance Account Assistants and new team members.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage is essential.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience with a brokerage or insurance carrier is required.
  • Experience in servicing middle market accounts is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Active insurance license in relevant coverage lines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
