Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electro-Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Guardian Fueling Technologies LLC. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electro-Mechanical Troubleshooting: Analyze and diagnose complex electro-mechanical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports and repair documentation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments, attending training sessions and workshops as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of a high school diploma/GED and/or one to three years of experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, including reading schematics and manuals, and ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Industry-Specific Equipment: Experience with Gilbarco Dispenser, Gasboy Fleet, Passport, Veeder Root, Verifone, Fuel Master, or other industry-specific equipment.
  • Certifications and Training: Possession of a DOT Medical Card and completion of training programs in areas such as General Safety, Lock-out Tag-out, HAZMAT, Electrostatic Discharge Awareness, Foreign Object Damage Awareness, and Quality System Awareness.
Work Environment

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a team environment with frequent changes in priorities. The employee must be able to work in a variety of settings, including outdoor environments with inclement weather, heat, and humidity.
