Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators and components at customer sites with minimal direction.
  • Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to your supervisor.
Requirements
  • Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage experience.
  • Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision, with hands-on experience working on power generation products.
  • Locally valid driving permit.
Qualifications
  • Significant relevant technician experience, qualified to perform work on most or all products in-scope for a technician at this location.
  • Frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair, with minimal to no supervision.
  • Ability to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians of varying skillsets.

This position will require a Med-Card and a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. The candidate must be 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. A 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations, is also required. The role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations, including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use. Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, and the applicant must be 21 years of age.
