Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform adult echocardiography examinations with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Take on-call shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage and provide emergency echocardiography services as needed.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist with maintaining infection control standards and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from echocardiography procedures.
  • Participate in risk management initiatives to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain positive inter- and intra-departmental relationships to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Promote excellent guest relations and provide exceptional customer service to patients and families.
  • Actively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Good oral and written communication skills in the English language.
  • Ability to function calmly and effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • Experience in echocardiographic examination of patients in any setting, including acute care settings.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Associate Degree in cardiovascular sonography field preferred.
  • Registered in Cardiac Sonography required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
