Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to join our team at AVC Laboratory, Inc. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our measuring instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate precision measuring instruments and equipment according to established standards and protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on measuring instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct inspections to verify that equipment meets specifications and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with measuring instruments to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Fabricate or modify fixtures to support measurement processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address quality control concerns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude, with a focus on precision measurement and calibration.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and equipment, including calibrators and test equipment.
  • Experience in field service or industrial maintenance, with a proven track record of ensuring equipment accuracy and precision.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and high voltage, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision, with a focus on minimizing errors and ensuring accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
