Job Summary/Description

KGNS is seeking a Multi-media Marketing Consultant to join our team. As a dominant company in the market, we offer a unique opportunity to generate revenue through effective outside sales techniques, develop new business relationships, and create advertising strategies for local businesses. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an enthusiastic and outgoing personality, and a drive to succeed.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue for the station and meet monthly goals through effective outside sales techniques
  • Develop new business relationships through selling commercial advertising time and other station products
  • Create and present advertising strategies and ideas for local businesses
  • Provide input on sales promotion opportunities to sales management
  • Limit churn and retain current business and develop new business contacts
  • Develop and attain budgeted revenue goals through effective solicitations, promotions, and service
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Strong organizational, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Competitive, persuasive, energetic, and self-motivated
  • Ability to overcome objections
  • Outside media sales experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Professional appearance
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and insurance
  • College Degree Preferred (but not required)
  • A basic knowledge of digital marketing is preferred
