Position Summary
We are in search of a Regional Sales Manager who possesses a strong history of achieving and surpassing sales targets. The ideal candidate should be engaging, driven, and proactive in recognizing client requirements while providing tailored solutions through our comprehensive range of products and services. This role encompasses all phases of the sales cycle, from initial outreach to final closing and onboarding of new clients. This position is flexible and can be performed remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure new business opportunities that align with annual recurring revenue (ARR) objectives.
- Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan to increase market share within the designated territory.
- Consistently seek out and engage new potential accounts.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with prospective government clients.
- Manage complex sales processes effectively.
- Utilize a consultative, client-focused, solution-driven sales approach.
- Ensure client satisfaction to create delighted and referenceable customers.
- Prepare and deliver client proposals, responses to RFPs, and product demonstrations.
- Maintain a robust opportunity pipeline at five times the ARR quota.
- Ensure accurate and organized customer relationship management (CRM) practices and provide reliable quarterly forecasts.
Qualifications for Success
- A Bachelor’s degree and over five years of experience in sales within the government sector are highly preferred.
- Ability to work remotely and willingness to travel between 50% to 70% of the time.
- Demonstrated focus on quotas and goals, coupled with urgency, determination, and resilience.
- Exemplary accountability and a strong work ethic.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to integrity.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven success in identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Capacity to cultivate personal relationships with government prospects and clients.
