Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely patient account reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify complex demographic, insurance, and medical information to ensure accurate patient account reimbursement
  • Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient account discrepancies
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
  • National Certification of CHAA upon hire
  • 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Business office setting
  • Experience with insurance eligibility systems
  • Knowledge of medical billing codes and Epic applications
