Job Summary

Option Care Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Registration Specialist to facilitate the transition of new patients to our services. This role requires strong communication and coordination skills to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for patients and referral partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing teams to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery services.
  • Create and communicate all required documentation for new referrals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Secure patient upfront payment, including assisting patients in finding avenues for payment where needed.
  • Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims and denial management, following up on paperwork where necessary.
  • Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related field, preferably in healthcare or medical billing.
  • Ability to multitask and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time.
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot problems.
