Position Overview:

The Patient Registration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new patients into Option Care Health services. This position aims to provide a consistent onboarding experience that reassures both patients and referral partners of our commitment to quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients, referral sources, sales teams, pharmacy, and nursing staff to coordinate discharge and ensure nursing and delivery services are secured.
  • Gather, communicate, and obtain all necessary documentation for new referrals.
  • Assist patients in securing upfront payments and guide them to financial assistance programs when needed.
  • Support ongoing efforts to maintain clean claims and manage denials by following up on missing paperwork.
  • Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special projects as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in healthcare or medical billing is preferred.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $17.52 and $29.20, determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, along with internal equity and market alignment.
