Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a critical role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in person and over the phone
  • Room patients and prepare them for exams and procedures
  • Manage patient flow and coordinate with clinicians and staff to ensure efficient and effective care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and electronic medical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • 1 year of customer service experience or successful completion of Providence internship
  • Preferred qualifications: 1 year of medical office or healthcare experience, basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems, medical terminology experience
