Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Credit and Collections department. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the complete life cycle of complex projects, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout. Your primary goal will be to ensure that planned results are achieved on time, while developing budgets, timelines, and tracking critical project achievements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, action item registers, and major milestone timelines for all assigned projects. Create and maintain process workflow documents to support business needs.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate the activities of a cross-functional team, including exempt and non-exempt employees. Define project objectives and ensure progress to plan, as well as tracking critical project achievements.
  • Communication: Act as a single point of contact for project status. Maintain communication with stakeholders, including leadership and team members. Facilitate and lead project meetings.
  • Process Improvement: Measure and analyze actual performance and implement changes to improve team performance. Promote positive employee relations by fostering a team environment of open communication, approachability, and fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
  • Change Management: Act as change management liaison and change lead in communicating important business initiatives. Communicate messages to the team in a positive manner that conveys connection to the business strategy, customers, and employees.
  • Financial Management: Prepare activity reports, financial forecasts, and reports required by regulatory agencies. Oversee invoicing from vendors, ensuring timely payments and resolution of field issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in a financial services or credit operations environment.
  • Certifications: (if applicable)
